The PVMULTICAM is a Weatherproof Camera with Built-In Microphone, Motion Detector, and 6 Infrared LED lights for see-in-the-dark recording up to 10 feet away! (Night Vision on B/W Cameras Only!!)
Each camera comes with mounting hardware and bracket plus 60 feet of Video/Audio/Power Cable. You can also purchase additional 60 foot extensions (model EC60) if longer runs are required (up to 180 feet total per camera). You also get the break-out box that connects the camera to your TV or VCR, and the A/V indicator that will alert you audibly whenever the motion sensor in the camera detects movement.

It has a sharp, clear picture just like a camcorder. It works in extremely low light normally and if it gets too dark the camera also has built-in infrared illuminators that let you see in total darkness up to 10' away from the lens. (IR Illuminators on B/W Camera Only) Finally, it features a built-in motion detector that will sound a beep and light with the included mini A/V indicator so you can see and/or hear the alarm when the camera detects motion. You can turn off the alarm's sound if desired.
These features require the optional PVAS040 4 camera switcher:
Connect up to 4 PVMULTICAMS or PVMINICAMS to the AS040 switcher and you can switch between up to 4 cameras manually or set it to automatically switch between the 4 cameras.
These features require the optional PVC050 VCR controller:
Motion-Activated Recording - With the optional PVC050 VCR Controller, the motion sensor in the PVMULTICAM works to activate a regular VCR and start and stop recording when motion is detected. When used, it makes reviewing tapes quicker because the VCR only recorded images when the motion sensor was on. Up to 4 cameras can be used with the same optional controller. When more than 1 camera is connected to this controller, it will automaitcally switch to the camera detecting movement and start the VCR recording. If more than 1 camera is detecting motion, the camera with the higher priority (that you select) will be recorded. The controller can also add the time and date to the tape.
