This package includes 2 high-resolution, low-light capable Sony CCD cameras. You can order this system with your choice of any of these camera models for the same low system price, or call us for special system pricing if you would like to order this system with any other cameras on our site.
Each camera includes at least 25 feet of multi-cable that sends the power to the camera. The same cable also carries the video and optional audio signal so there is only one wire to run for each camera. Since the cable also supplies the power to the camera, you won't need to have a power outlet where you mount the camera. Longer cables (up to thousands of feet) are available if needed. Please call for special system prices if you need longer cables.
This system also includes the latest Geovision Version 8 Surveillance Software and hardware (model GV-250). Using this software the video is recorded to the computer's hard drive and displayed live on the PC monitor. If you have an internet connection at the camera location, it also enables you to remotely view your live cameras or playback the recorded video from another computer connected to the internet from anywhere in the world!
This powerful software has all the features the pros require, yet it's simple enough for anyone to install and use.
It's easy to install. This card simply plugs into a PCI slot on the back of your computer. Then you can connect all of your cameras to it. Once your cameras are hooked up, just install the software and you are ready to record and view your cameras. Anyone can do it! Full-motion video (like when watching TV) is 30fps. Traditional security VCR's in time-lapse record modes typically record at speed as slow as 2fps. This card can view and record a total of 20 fps. That means that if you are using 1 camera, then you will record 20 images (frames) per second. If you use 2 cameras, then you record at 10 fps per camera (20 divided by 2).
The standard card (GV-250) can be upgraded to other cards with faster fps capture/display rates by selecting from the option list above. You can get more information on these cards by clicking on these links: GV-600, GV-650
